RevIMG Mobile

RevIMG mobile is a reverse visual search engine developed for mobile devices. Take a picture with the integrated camera of your mobile phone and search it with RevIMG mobile to know what is it and get information about it.

RevIMG mobile is very usefull when you are in a city and yuo want information about monuments or paintings.

How to use RevIMG Mobile

1. Take a picture of the monument or painting you want to sesarch.
   
   
   
   
2. Go to http://mobile.revimg.net and select a category (in this case monuments).
   
   
3. upload the image and select a sub category (a city or an artist), then click on search.
   
   
   
   
4. RevIMG show you the result of the search ordered by percent match, click the link to have information about the monument or painting.
   
   

Some advices

• Try to take a picture as clean as possible: without people, or other stuff in front of it.
• Avoid reflection when using your flash. Disable your flash indoors.
• Try to take a picture of the entire monument or painting.
• For monuments: if possible take a "standard" picture of the entire monument (like the one you think is available on internet).
• For paintings: if possible stand in front and take a picture only of it (no picture frame or other).
